By accessing or purchasing from Baymz Automotive, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are intended to protect both the customer and the business and outline expectations, responsibilities, and policies.
General Terms
- All product visuals and descriptions are provided for illustrative purposes. While we aim for accuracy, minor differences may exist between website images and the physical product.
- We are committed to customer satisfaction and will work fairly and reasonably to resolve any genuine concerns or disputes.
- Customers agree not to post defamatory content about Baymz Automotive or its partners across public forums, websites, or social media. Doing so may result in service suspension and/or legal action.
- Modifications or performance enhancements may exceed original vehicle specifications. Customers assume full responsibility for any impact or liability arising from such modifications.
- Baymz Automotive is not liable for any pre-existing mechanical issues or wear-related failures that may become apparent during or after our services.
- Aggressive, abusive, or unreasonable conduct from customers will not be tolerated. In such cases, we reserve the right to halt work and request immediate vehicle collection.
- Vehicles left uncollected or without work authorization may incur storage charges. Prolonged abandonment may result in the vehicle being sold to recoup costs, following appropriate legal notice.
- Performance upgrade figures are estimates and may vary due to numerous external factors. No specific power gains are guaranteed.
- Parts and equipment remain the property of Baymz Automotive until full payment is received.
- We are not liable for indirect losses (e.g., wages, fuel, third-party services) stemming from defective parts or service issues. We will, however, work diligently to rectify product-specific concerns.
Payment & Pricing
- All listed prices excludes VAT unless otherwise stated.
- Due to fluctuating exchange rates or supplier changes, pricing is subject to change without notice.
- Special orders or custom/import items require full prepayment and are non-refundable.
- Deposits on special orders must be a minimum of 25% and are non-refundable.
- Credit card transactions may incur a processing fee; you will be notified if applicable.
- Payment for services is required at the time of collection unless arranged in advance.
Performance & ECU Tuning
- Engine tuning and remapping are carried out at the owner’s discretion and risk. These services may place additional stress on vehicle components.
- Baymz Automotive cannot be held responsible for existing or latent component failures that emerge post-tuning.
- Customers are advised to ensure their vehicle is mechanically sound prior to any performance enhancements.
- ECU remaps are non-refundable due to the custom nature of the service.
- While we aim for our remaps to be dealership-safe, we cannot guarantee detection avoidance. However, we offer a reinstall service for customers concerned about dealership detection.
Delivery Terms
- Customers must inspect all deliveries upon receipt. Signing for an item confirms it was received in good condition.
- Damaged items must be signed for as such to initiate a replacement or compensation claim. “Unchecked” signatures void this eligibility.
- We are not responsible for delays due to third parties, courier errors, or supplier delays.
- Items designated for workshop fitting will not be shipped out and must be installed on-site.
Online Orders & Security
- Online orders are typically dispatched within 48 hours if in stock.
- Some “in stock” products are ordered and dispatched from suppliers and may take up to 10 working days to dispatch
- All back order orders can take up to 30 working days but we try to get the order to you as soon as possible.
- Orders may only be shipped to the billing address associated with the payment method.
- We reserve the right to verify transactions or refuse suspicious activity, including checking ID, address, and cardholder details.
- Most shipments are trackable and require a signature upon delivery.
Installation Services
- Installation is available at Baymz Automotive or authorized partner locations by prior appointment.
- The purchase of a part does not obligate installation and vice versa — each is a separate service agreement.
- We are not responsible for failures of existing vehicle components during or after installation due to prior wear or damage.
Aftermarket Parts – Quality & Fitment
- Many parts we supply are aftermarket and not OEM. Fitment may vary slightly and may require modifications for ideal results.
- Minor imperfections, adjustments, or finishing touches may be necessary and are considered normal in the aftermarket industry.
- We strongly recommend installation by professionals experienced in aftermarket components.
- No refunds or shipping reimbursements will be issued for parts requiring minor adjustments or that have expected aftermarket tolerances.
Returns & Refunds
- Returns are accepted only with prior written authorization and if items are returned unused, unmodified, and in original packaging.
- Used, installed, or painted parts are not eligible for return.
- Stock item returns may incur a 5-10% restocking fee.
- Special order or custom items are non-refundable.
- PayPal refunds will be subject to a 4% processing fee.
- Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Warranty
- Standard warranty periods vary by product and type: mechanical/electronic items generally carry a 12-month warranty; aesthetic parts vary from 6 to 12 months.
- Warranty covers manufacturing defects, not wear-and-tear or accidental damage.
- No warranty is provided for parts used in racing, track days, or competitive events.
- Warranty claims are valid only for the original purchaser and require proof of purchase.
- Labor costs related to removal or re-installation are not covered under warranty.
Vehicle Bookings & Deposits
- Workshop appointments require a 50% or £100 which ever is greater non-refundable deposit to confirm.
- The remaining balance must be paid before or upon completion of services.
- Cancellations must be made at least 5 working days in advance. Late cancellations may result in loss of deposit.
Company Liability
- Baymz Automotive is insured as required by law. However, we are not liable for loss or damage to personal items left in vehicles.
- We cannot be held responsible for delays or disruptions caused by factors beyond our control (e.g., weather, traffic, supply shortages).
- In the rare event of vehicle breakdown during our service, we will aim to provide a suitable solution or refund.
Customer Responsibility for Damages
- Customers are liable for any damages caused to workshop property or vehicles due to negligence or misuse.
- Any repair or cleaning costs resulting from such incidents will be charged accordingly.
Dispute Resolution
- In the event of any dispute, customers must contact Baymz Automotive directly prior to pursuing action with any payment provider or financial institution. We aim to resolve issues promptly and fairly.
Prohibited Conduct
- Smoking, eating, drinking, and illegal substances are not allowed inside vehicles or on premises.
Website Use
- All content on www.baymz.com, including text and images, is the property of Baymz Automotive. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
- We strive for accuracy in all website listings but are not liable for occasional errors or omissions.
